As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back and delivering social value to surrounding communities, our Farnborough Business Park team joined other Frasers Property UK parks for a volunteering day with local charity The Cowshed.
Organised by CMPP (Community Matters Partnership Project) — a non-profit initiative that connects businesses with meaningful local volunteering — our team spent the day sorting clothing donations, cleaning shoes, and helping in the sewing room, where materials were cut to create essential toiletry and referral bags for individuals and families in crisis.
The Cowshed helps people facing hardship — whether due to poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse, or other challenging circumstances — by offering practical support with dignity and compassion. The charity also promotes sustainability by repurposing pre-loved items and involving volunteers in meaningful, community-focused work.
It was a rewarding day of teamwork and purpose — one that delivered 40 hours of combined volunteering and an estimated £800 of value back to the charity.
Thank you to CMPP and The Cowshed for making it such a positive and impactful experience. We’re proud to be part of a business community that cares.
Beyond location and specification, organisations are increasingly considering how design, comfort and access to amenities shape day-to-day experience and longer-term working culture.
Rather than being viewed as an added extra, workplace wellbeing is now part of how many businesses think about creating environments that feel supportive, engaging and fit for modern working patterns.
When we think of modern office buildings, we picture dynamic, multi-use environments that recognise a simple truth: productivity flourishes when spaces adapt to people, not the other way round.
This vision is a world away from conventional desk-focused layouts, moving towards integrated spaces accommodating diverse working styles.
