Our Summer Baskets workshop is one of the highlights of the year in our community events calendar — especially when the sun shines and we can all gather under The Hangar to enjoy getting creative together.
This event also provides a wonderful opportunity to raise money for our park charity, Phyliss Tuckwell Hospice Care, with all baskets being free to create in return for a small donation to the charity.
We have been long-term supporters of Phyllis Tuckwell — a specialist palliative care provider serving communities in Surrey and North East Hampshire.
Everyone really enjoyed the workshop, creating beautiful baskets while working towards that all-important work-life balance — taking a lunchtime break to do something different that helps them refocus and recharge.
Beyond location and specification, organisations are increasingly considering how design, comfort and access to amenities shape day-to-day experience and longer-term working culture.
Rather than being viewed as an added extra, workplace wellbeing is now part of how many businesses think about creating environments that feel supportive, engaging and fit for modern working patterns.
When we think of modern office buildings, we picture dynamic, multi-use environments that recognise a simple truth: productivity flourishes when spaces adapt to people, not the other way round.
This vision is a world away from conventional desk-focused layouts, moving towards integrated spaces accommodating diverse working styles.
