Farnborough Business Park proudly celebrates Volunteers Week by highlighting our ongoing commitment to community engagement and social value. Partnering with Community Matters Partnership, our park teams regularly participate in volunteering opportunities that make a tangible difference.
From local clean-up projects to helping nearby schools to create wildlife gardens and bright outdoors play areas, there’s a real sense of team spirit when we come together from across the business parks to support our local community.
Over the past year, Frasers Property who owns Farnborough Park, had 7 volunteers contribute 35 hours on each of its four southern business parks, totalling 140 hours to local projects, which equates to donating £2660.
We believe that by investing time and effort in giving back, we contribute to a thriving, supportive environment for all. That’s why we also have a park charity which we support throughout the year and our community so generously donates to. This year it’s Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
Why not let us know what volunteering opportunities you’re involved in to celebrate and encourage other companies and individuals to give back during Volunteers Week?
The stereotype of the traditional office model, rows of identical desks under fluorescent lighting, has become as outdated as the fax machine. Today, a one-size-fits-all office simply no longer cuts it. Companies recognise that their workforce comprises individuals with vastly different needs, preferences, and working styles.
Your office space is far more than just four walls, a wave of screens and a collection of desks. It's a powerful strategic tool that can elevate how your business operates, how your team performs, and how clients perceive your organisation.
Many people think office buildings are just places to work. They’re wrong. The right office building doesn’t just house your business – it actively helps to grow it through the connections it creates.
