Farnborough Business Park proudly celebrates Volunteers Week by highlighting our ongoing commitment to community engagement and social value. Partnering with Community Matters Partnership, our park teams regularly participate in volunteering opportunities that make a tangible difference.
From local clean-up projects to helping nearby schools to create wildlife gardens and bright outdoors play areas, there’s a real sense of team spirit when we come together from across the business parks to support our local community.
Over the past year, Frasers Property who owns Farnborough Park, had 7 volunteers contribute 35 hours on each of its four southern business parks, totalling 140 hours to local projects, which equates to donating £2660.
We believe that by investing time and effort in giving back, we contribute to a thriving, supportive environment for all. That’s why we also have a park charity which we support throughout the year and our community so generously donates to. This year it’s Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
Why not let us know what volunteering opportunities you’re involved in to celebrate and encourage other companies and individuals to give back during Volunteers Week?
Hot-desking has changed the face of rented workspace management by creating flexible seating arrangements. Employees choose their workstations on a first-come, first-served basis. By eliminating the concept of permanent, personal desks, it allows for a more fluid and adaptable environment, potentially accommodating more workers within a space. Read on to learn how hot-desking could work for your business.
Get Set for Festivities
We’re counting down to Christmas at Farnborough Park! And as always, we’re going all out to spread festive cheer across the park and support our local community. So, get your calendars out and circle the dates to join in, make memories and give back.
At Farnborough Business Park, we believe in the power of community, social value and giving back and so do our occuppiers! Together we raised an impressive £330 for our park charity, Phyllis Tuckwell from a recent Park Bake.
