Our community from across the park rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in at our Community Allotment Planting Event, helping transform the shared growing space ahead of the summer months.
Held as part of our Connect to Nature month, the lunchtime session brought together colleagues from across the park to plant a variety of vegetables, herbs and pollinator-friendly plants that will continue to grow throughout the season.
The event gave members of the park community the chance to step away from their desks, enjoy time outdoors and connect with others while learning more about seasonal planting and the benefits of shared green spaces.
The allotment forms part of the park’s wider commitment to encouraging biodiversity and creating spaces that support both wellbeing and community engagement. As the plants begin to flourish over the summer, occupiers will be able to enjoy the evolving space during walks, breaks and future gardening sessions.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. We’re looking forward to seeing the allotment continue to grow and welcoming the community back for the harvest later in the year.
